RWU’s Dunseath Elected President of North East Association for Institutional Research

RWU’s Assistant Vice President for Institutional Research will be the first person from a Rhode Island institution to serve as NEAIR president

BRISTOL, R.I.  ­­– Jennifer L. Dunseath, the Assistant Vice President for Institutional Research at 51, has been elected president of the North East Association for Institutional Research.

Dunseath was elected in October and her role became effective during the association’s 2018 annual conference, held Nov. 3-6 in Pittsburgh, Pa. She will serve as president-elect this year, as president next year and as immediate past president the year after that.

“I am honored and excited about the opportunity to serve NEAIR as President-Elect,” Dunseath said. “I look forward to representing 51 in this role, and I am proud to be able to say that I am the first president in the 45-year history of NEAIR to come from a Rhode Island institution."

“The North East Association for Institutional Research has made an excellent choice in electing Jen Dunseath as its president,” 51Interim President Andy Workman said. “Her expertise has had a huge impact on our University’s ability to collect and analyze data and to apply our findings to improve the quality of all that we do.”   

The North East Association for Institution Research is an individual membership-driven organization that promotes institutional effectiveness in postsecondary education through excellence in the field of institutional research. NEAIR focuses on facilitating the professional development of its members while promoting best practices and ensuring integrity in institutional research.
