BRISTOL, R.I. - For a first-year student, commencement might seem like an eternity away, but the Center for Career & Professional Development (CCPD) plans to get students actively thinking about life after Roger throughout their college career. The CCPD recently hosted their first annual Professional Week, a series of events that included: Resume and Cover Letter Day, Digital Personal Marketing Day, Mock Interview Day, and more. While these events provided a wide range of experiences, they all shared a constant factor; practicing professionalism.

Professional Week focuses on different programs that help you build who you are, and make you the best applicant, said Sierra Zschirnt, Associate Director of External Relations with the CCPD. From first-years to seniors, students took advantage of the available programs, connecting with working professionals on campus who offered advice and spoke about their experiences.

With the first Professional Week behind them, the CCPD is now preparing for their annual Career Week, running March 30 through April 3. Career Week will build on the practices of Professional Week, and look to provide students even more opportunities to connect with future career and internship opportunities.
