Access Services Policy
The University Library exists to support the educational mission of 51ÂÜÀò and the curricular needs of its academic community. Precedence will be given to members of the University community in the use of all library facilities and resources at all times. Visitors are asked to abide by library policies found on the University Library website and Information Technology policies governing the use of computers and technology available on the .
Borrowing privileges are extended to the following groups:
The 51ÂÜÀò Community:
The University Community, including students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
HELIN Consortium:
HELIN Consortium members include faculty, students and staff from CCRI, Johnson and Wales University, Providence College, Rhode Island College, 51ÂÜÀò, Salve Regina University, and Wheaton College. HELIN members must present a valid college or university ID at the Information Desk.
Bristol Residents:
Borrowing privileges are extended to Bristol residents who are 18 years of age or older. Residents must bring proof of residence to the Library Information Desk when applying for a library card.
